Harley Dykstra worked cohesively with Council technical officers as well as the project architect and transport consultants to thoroughly address the various opportunities and constraints of the site for commercial development.  It was a complex process of constant review and adjustment of design to respond to the list of desires and demands of the City. Harley Dykstra conducted an extensive review of Australian Standards, design review and problem solving to achieve a technically compliant and positive Built Form outcome.

Throughout all this, Harley Dykstra triumphed with an approved car parking variation and development approval. By means of close collaboration with the City of Rockingham technical staff, Harley Dykstra was able to avoid determination by the Rockingham Council; thereby fast tracking the approvals process. This teamwork allowed the clients’ application to be processed quite quickly, highlighting the core values held and practiced by Harley Dykstra.
